WOOOOOW!!! Interesting Idea and shocking as well! Is not it contrary to time value of money concept and also falsifying theories of depreciation of money. At present, when you hardly can buy one candy from one Rupee, you can get $1.05 in exchange of 1 Rs. In the currency market, the dollar can be slipped against the Rupee. So you should start searching out 1982s or earlier currency notes from your elder bro, sis or even from your parents diaries. But what if you keep on retaining that rupee; you may get $10.05 or more after few years. Also, there is possibility that Government itself start collecting old currency notes from public so that it can bargain them against dollars. This would help us in increasing our foreign reserves.

i think government should ask state bank to start churning out 1980 and before notes… boy.. our economy would grow by 80 times its size…. LOLZZZZ =)=)
