NTS Commonwealth Scholarship Result 2009
There have been repeated queries about result of NTS Commonwealth Scholarship Program test beside the “clear” notice by NTS saying that they’ll only be responsible for holding the test, which they painfully did, somehow . As per the information, there will be NO result announcement for the test as there’s no document related to result of the test, neither on NTS website nor on that of Ministry of Education. However “successful candidates” are supposed be contacted by concerned authorities based on their academic record and performance in the test.
I wish the process was transparent enough which unfortunately is NOT. At least there should have been a press release indicating the successful jewels but rather a personal contact intimiating success in “wealthy” commonwealth scholarship was preferred. Ministry of Education website has nothing related to NTS Scholarship but an old link from 2005 Scholarship program, it was when they had not passed the responsibility over to NTS. Here’s the link:

So all of you guys who had appeared in the test and are awaiting result, give up the vigil and be at peace.

I also appeared in the test and got quite good score based on the NTS online result but have yet received anything either from NTS or the Ministry of Education.
I will write to the Commonwealth Secretariate too for our ministry’s sinister silence.
I request other people too for their feedback to be sent to the Commonwealth Secretariate in order to pressurise the education ministry to deal transparently with regard to this issue..

Good review. Unfortunately all these thing happen in all government and the current government is and will be one step further from others one. As the previous era’s have witnessed. I think there must be some platform from students who can raise this issue.

hi. i appeared in local gre exam conducted for commonwealth scholarships 2009, held on 21 september 2008, securing 63 marks, but no information was conveyed by ministry of education regarding the final selection. it is axiomatic that oligarchy still rules supreme in pakistan and these exams are just the fabrications. i have also passed GRE(GENERAL) exam with 1240 scores and toefl with 98 scores. one is obfuscted by the sinister and melancholy of our HEC and ministry of education. down with them both

its very ridiculous, that there is no worth of genius and loyal people in Pakistan.i have got 85.68% marks in BSc Chemical Engineering,and i have applied for HEC South Korea Scholarship 7th batch,approximately cost for applying for scholarship was
400 orignol certificate verification by HEc a&a div per result card +provisional certificate (400×5)=2000
200 for single photocopy and that i have submitted(200×5)=1000
hec scholarship application applying fee through HBL online (300+350(hbl online fee)=650
through total is 3650 RS
AFTER taking all other pains i successfully sumbited my application very before the time,but still i got no reply not even the reply of rejection receiving.
this all felt very that we now are living in frustating situation.
but you can say me i am mad because i am know once again going to taking common wealth scholarship test on 4th october 2009.
see what happen.

Well, u need to hire a lawyer who then enforces your rights of your paid money and gets the ministry on your knees.
If you don’t then sleep with the fish.

The NTS authorities should mail the ROLL NO to all those student who are illegible and who deposited the fee for NTS test.if they are not illegible than the NTS autorities should refund the fee to all those student who applied for the scholarship but they are not entitald.

Hi brothers! i ve applied for NTS Commonwealth Scholarship Program 2009 too. Unfortunately, at least i can never expect any good from this government. this country need a revolution.

Yes my dear fellow. You are right, the system is diseased to such extent that it cant be healed. Need revolution. The minds are changing. The only thing delaying it is our submitting behavior. We have to start asking questions to whom we pay TAX. They are our servants but in reality they are making lives miserable.

I also appeared for NTS common wealth scholarship 2009 but i don’t even know my result, i dont know why the damn NTS website is opening as am trying to open it everyday since the test. How would i know my result. Need some help here.

I have appeared in NTS -Common wealth scholarship exam and I got 81 Mraks but still no further updates from NTS or Ministry of Education…I have also cleared GRE(General) with 1140 and TOEFL with 109 marks..but during the reign of Mr Zardari,I donot expect any scholarship at all……

Probably reading this too late, but would like to tell people that although they may not declare results, the test is actually very fair and merit based, and they do put the top 30 scoring candidates forward, depending on chosen field of study forward. I was one of them and quite a few people form Pakistan do get the scholarship, through this very test, and it is entirely merit based. And these were all people without any connections with the bureaucracy.
Those who are not successful should not really be blaming the organization for being unfair, but hope to do well in the next test. Thousands of people give the test every year, only a handful will be selected so lets not be so bitter and blame the process for it.
