Facebook Banned in Pakistan, Finally!
Posted on May 19th, 2010 in General
Most of Pakistan ISPs have banned Facebook in Pakistan acting on this morning’s order by Lahore High Court to temporarily block Facebook in Pakistan. Ban is announced to be valid till May 30, 2010.
Ban is due to failure of Facebook to remove controversial fan page promoting “Draw Muhammad Day” despite huge number of reports made for the page to be removed. Citing this proof, it sounds fair to block Facebook temporarily.

I find this is something should not be done..Specially when issue is created by handful of users…
Instead of banning facebook..they should have reported that page and let it deleted by Facebook admin..
What do you think? Is it justified to ban a website when system is abused by a handful of users?
